Comet Ison, Thanksgiving and the beauty of the universe

 Comet Ison may have exploded or evaporated Thanksgiving day. I'm great for this country even in hard times which I blame progressives ideals and Socialism which I definitely think the President is. But into the body of this post, I will try to not be political anymore. Comet Ison  approaching the sun on Thanksgiving day, Hanukkah and Thanksgiving overlapping for the first time ever, It is not suppose to happen for another 7890 years or so, not sure on the number; that is a lot of crazy overlapping events in the grandeur of this universe with the planet and all of their perturbations. I'm great for this universe, it seems like in the grandeur of the universe we are nothing, but we are everything in the grand scheme of things, and we are everything with Gods help.

Internet filtering

I think we need a lot of third party content rating companies, so when a website is crawled people can now what a websites contents are otherwise how else do you know what websites to block with a filter. I also think the biggest loopholes for internet filtering are pictures search engines, blogs, and foreign websites. The reason blogs are hard to rate is because there content is always change more frequently than most websites, someone should launch a free blog where you have to rate your content of your blog after every update of your blog. Picture search engines need to operate in a vacuum or have better filtering, if a picture is good and not questionable and it allows you to go to the website, the website could allow you to have access to other picture linked to that album that is questionable. check out this link for more info on PICS(Platform for internet content selection) and safe internet content.http://www.fosi.org/icra/

What is the Internet

  This is my first blog post. It is called what is the internet. I will tell you what the internet is not. It is not some open ether to the world that should not be fettered to filtered. If will like the internet completely open, people will lie about what their website is and what there intentions for having a webpage are.
  The internet can teach one how to create a bomb, he can teach one all kinds of evil and illegal things. It can destroy childhood innocence through phishing schemes and mistyping a word and being exposed to porn. It can be a open forum for foreign and domestic terrorist like Al-Qaeda.  So in conclusion I believe the internet needs some sort of content rating and a opt in for pornographic sites.

   The UK porn sites be like you be taking away all our business. I guess they will have to learn to market to people the legal way. It will be harder for porn to find you, you have to find it in seedy websites just like seedy alleys in the old days.
